British Youth Council

The British Youth Council is run by young people to represent their views to central and local government, political parties, pressure groups and the media. The activities they run include parliamentary youth forums, training and local youth council conventions.

They promote the citizenship of young people and work to help them develop the skills and abilities to participate fully within decision making bodies, the communities in which they live and society as a whole.
